International Students - Application Process:

Candidate Selection
Application materials should be submitted to the Office of Admission by February 15th , for the upcoming Academic School Year, although ASCIS does accept student applications on a continuous basis.
Académie Ste. Cécile International School is a university preparatory academy.Candidates who apply require diligent work habits, a willingness to succeed and a desire to achieve good grades to meet the acceptance criteria of Universities globally.ASCIS is an academic school, whereas, our faculty and staff members strive to work diligently in preparing our students for a smooth transition to University studies.
Students must understand prior to applying that the marks that they achieve at ASCIS will apply as full credits toward their Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD), which is what students need in Ontario to apply to University. We are committed to helping students achieve their goals however; students who come to the Academy must be prepared to put forth a full effort to attain admission into university.
IB Diploma Program
For advanced students, Académie Ste. Cécile International School offers an IB Diploma Program, dedicated to a rigorous pre-university course of studies and examinations designed to meet the needs of highly motivated secondary school students. The world-recognized program is a comprehensive two-year curriculum that allows its graduates to fulfill requirements of various national education systems.
Stage 1 - Application for Admission
This is the first application that the student fills out. It is to be sent together with the following to our Office of Admissions:
- A non-refundable bank draft of $300.00 Canadian Funds, made out to Académie Ste. Cécile International School. It is very important that the student’s name should appear on this bank draft for proper credit reference
- The student’s current report card / transcripts, and preferably translated into English, as well as the last year’s report card. If more years are available, it would be in the student’s best interest to forward a copy of these as well.
- The completed Confidential Reference Form. (In certain cases, Administration may request an additional reference upon notification to the applicant).
Stage One Information
Stage 2 - Student Information Sheet
- Students will receive notification from our Admissions Office regarding acceptance to ASCIS. Stage 2 and the school fees invoice will be transmitted with the notification.
Stage 2 applications, along with a copy of the bank draft / electronic bank transfer should be faxed to our office at (519) 969-7953, Attention: Office of Admissions and subsequently forwarded by courier or express airmail to our office.
Stage Two Information

- When the school receives and reviews all of the completed documents as outlined in Stage #2 and when the school has received and deposited the required payment, the following documents will be processed: Confirmation of Acceptance, Confirmation of Residence, Custodianship letters which will be forwarded by courier.
- Complete all visa arrangements prior to your arrival in Canada, promptly take the ASCIS documents to the Canadian Consulate General Office located nearest to you and make application for a Student Authorization and Visa in order to come and study in Canada at Académie Ste. Cécile International School. You are responsible to pay for all expenses incurred in this process.
- When you procure your Student Authorization and Visa, kindly notify the school as soon as possible by sending us a copy of these documents. You should then make appropriate travel arrangements.
- Again, please note: Once a Student Authorization and a Visa are granted to the student applicant, no part of any amount paid to the school will be refunded. Only when a Student Authorization and Visa are not granted to the student applicant, will all amounts (except for the application fee) be refunded.
