Charity Dance – Friday, May 11th

For the last few months, a group of ASCIS students have been dedicated to raising money to help support Karmanos Cancer Institute and Transition to Betterness. High school students are invited to a dance on Friday, May 11th, 2012 from 7:30pm-11pm in room 104 to support ‘ASCIS Fight for a Cure’.

Students are welcome to bring friends provided they fill out a guest form, available in advance from the school. The dance has a $10 entrance fee and chaperons will be present to supervise students.

Pizza, pop and desserts will be sold for a toonie each courtesy of the Zekelman and Shuren families. Opportunities to win prizes including 2 tickets to a Detroit Tigers baseball game, courtesy of Rob and Alissa Katzman, and a Marc Jacobs handbag, courtesy of Sacs Fifth Avenue among others will be available with donation. ‘ASCIS Fight for the Cure’ spirit wear will be available for purchase until 11:00pm on friday. Tee shirts are $20 and Hoodies are $45 (with a $7 additional fee if you choose to have your name on the sleeve).

100% of proceeds from this dance and other moneys raised throughout the cancer drive will be donated to Karmanos Cancer Institute and Transition to Betterness. Please encourage your kids to attend this fun event to dance against the disease.

Thank you for your continued support and we hope to see everyone on Friday.
